  THE WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC IS ONE OF THE BEST TOURNAMENTS IN ALL OF SPORTS         The 2023 World Baseball Classic wrapped just 33 days ago with Japan taking home its third championship since the tournament's inception in 2006.               If you're a baseball fan and didn't get to catch any of this year's classic, you missed out on one of the best atmospheres and competitions in all of sports.          With the new tournament still being very new to mainstream public, attendance numbers had much more room to grow, and they certainly did just that.    The previous record for attendance at the World Baseball Classic was set in 2017 at a total of 510,056.   HPU MEN'S BASKETBALL 2021-2022 SEASON PREVIEW CAN THE PANTHERS REGAIN THE BIG SOUTH THRONE? BY: MATT REYNOLDS Q NEWS  For the High Point University Athletic Department, 2021 will go down in history as one of the best years for the school. Why is that you may ask? The brand new Nido and Mariana Qubein Arena opened up in time for the fall semester.  However, this is just the beginning. High Point University's Men's basketball team is looking to make the new arena one of the best home-court advantages in all of collegiate sports.  Boost from the New Arena HPU's basketball program was home to the Millis Center since the early 1960's, which saw 4 Big South Regular season championships won by the program over that time period.
